Feed your body. Feed your soul.

Yesterday evening I had the privilege to take part in a career fair for youth in Surrey. As I shared my story I was reminded yet again of how very blessed I am to be doing something that I love and that gives so much life. I have always believed that good food is an essential part of living. Our bodies need food to sustain us and keep us healthy and strong but our souls also are fed and nourished on what and how we consume. I believe that we often become anemic in body because of the poor quality of food we eat. But we can also become anemic in spirit when we stop delighting in our food, no longer taking the time to share it with others and savour and experience its tastes and goodness.

So that is why here at the Water Shed Arts Café we always try to serve food of the highest qua lity. Everything we serve is made in house without any fillers or preservatives. We use real food that is local and organic whenever possible. And our meat and eggs are free range with no hormones or antibiotics. We want the food that you get from us to be good for you, body and soul. And we want you to be able to enjoy it, savour it and share it with friends. We are also endeavoring to provide many options for those who have dietary restrictions, do to choice and health concerns. This is an area that we are slowly growing in but please always ask what is available at the time.

Running a business has so many challenges and it can honestly feel and bit overwhelming at times. But when I think of all of my customers and the fun of creating that is my job it makes it all worthwhile.
